Eat Cake

Avril and Garth hosted a New Year's Eve potluck dinner / games night at their winter cottage near Kanaka Creek in Maple Ridge on December 31st. Incidentally, this same cottage also serves as Avril and Garth's shelter for spring, summer, and fall.

Doris, Sue, Al, Dorothy, Peggy, Avril, and Garth spent the final day of 2006 together, noshing delicious food, puzzling over a 500-piece puzzle, and playing a favourite board game called Loaded Question. Click here for pictures.

As an addendum to the evening: Garth and Avril celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on December 30th. Sue brought a delicious strawberry mousse cake in recognition of the love birds' years together.
