Four Diners

Last night Grace treated Sue, Doris, and Peggy to dinner at the Executive Inn Restaurant in Coquitlam. Later, the four swinging singles returned to Doris's place and enjoyed a hot cup of tea and a television show called Close to Home. It was a very nice evening.

Grace is Doris's sister-in-law. She moved from New Jersey late last year to be closer to her youngest daughter, Joanie, who lives in Los Angeles. Grace flew to Vancouver last Tuesday -- one day before the West Coast snowstorm. Doris and Grace have hunkered down at Doris's condo along with Daisy, the Havanese purebred, who prefers dry pavement to salted, ice-covered roads.
