A Splish Splash Dash
I increased the length of my (rainy) morning run by two kilometers today to burn a few more calories. The body is a curious thing; I eat the same quantity of food as I did 10 years ago, but you'd never know it comparing my "now" weight to my "then" weight. My doctor wasn't lying when he said a person's metabolism slows with age.
You're Not Fat -- Keep Your Chins Up
Ah well, I'll keep my chins up and hope for a better-toned, and a slightly lighter, body by the end of this month.
Keeps Me Honest
My blog-journal keeps me honest. I am committed to reporting my progress (or lack thereof). I like being able to say that I run each day; my next goal is to be able to write about my better eating habits. Small steps.
